Ms. Meyer wins the Island Coast High School "Distinguished Gator Award" for the month of Novmeber 2013
November 2013 - Mr. Guelcher selected Nicole Sarmiento along with her painting titled "Eye Spy", Ms. Everhart selected Angelika Dulichan and Ms. Meyer slected Danilo Rubias to be exhibited at the Southwest
Florida International Airport Art Show "Oh, the Places We Will Go". This show will be displayed there until the November of 2014.

October 2013 - Opening Reception for the "Designs and Dreams" Art Show at the Lee County Public Education Center. Students from Mr. Guelcher and Ms. Everhart had a total of 10 pieces of art on display for the next year.

In 2012 Mr. Guelcher received the Joann's and Kids in Need Foundation Grant for a art project called "Hopes and Dreams"
In 2012 Mr. Guelcher received the Target Field Trip Grant. That March he took the upper level visual art students on daytime "ArtWalk". The students got to visit and tour the Alliance for the Arts, The Art of the Olympians Museum, In One Instant Photography Gallery, Arts for ACT Gallery, Space 39 Gallery, daas Gallery, HOWL Gallery, and Coloring the World Gallery.
At the 2012 LAEA Young Artists High School Juried Art Show Mr. Guelcher had three students wins awards:

The 2011 Island Coast High School Holiday Tree at the Edison Ford Estates
Mr. Guelcher had two students receive "Honorable Mention" in the annual Keep Lee County Beautiful "Leave the Scene Clean" Calendar Art Contest.

Mr. Guelcher selected Treanne McCollum with her painting titled "Gone with the Moon" and Ms. Everhart selected Luis Couto to be exhibited at the Southwest Florida International Airport Art Show "Fly Me to the Moon". This show was displayed there until the summer of 2012.
In 2011 Mr. Guelcher and Ms. Everhart both received The Pine Island Art Association Grant. This grant was used to purchase frames and mats for a display in the main area of the school. Every year the students artwork in these frames is changed.
At the 2011 LAEA Young Artists High School Juried Art Show Mr. Guelcher had three students wins awards:

- Maria Soto - Juror's Choice Drawing: Color
- Jose Encarnacion - 3nd Place Mixed Media
In 2011 Mr. Guelcher received the Joann's and Kids in Need Foundation Grant for a art project called "Pop Art Ties"
In 2011 Mr. Guelcher received the Target Field Trip Grant. That February he took the upper level visual art students on a field trip to the Naples Museum of Art. The museum’s permanent collection holds many different genres of famous artworks including American Modernism, Mexican Masters, Photography, and extensive Sculpture Collection. Some of these famous artists include Jackson Pollock, Alexander Calder, Diego Rivera, Alfred Stieglitz, and Dale Chihuly. The museum also showcases traveling exhibits. During the month of February 2011 five superb traveling shows were showcased at the museum. These 5 shows were: “Rembrandt’s Etchings”, “Works by Robert Rauschenberg”, “The Paintings and Drawings of Lynn Davidson”, “Blossom II: The Art of Flowers” Includes works by Monet, O’Keefe, and Van Gogh, and “Albert Paley Sculpture”.
